The University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine
Pediatric Research Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine

The EcoChamber is working in partnership with the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine which currently holds the country’s largest children’s hospital to create the first Pediatric Research Center for Complimentary and Alternative Medicine in the world. This center would be poised to revolutionize pediatric care and advance the use of complementary and alternative as part of the standard of care.

The program will foster collaboration between complementary and alternative medicine practitioners to increase respect between the two health care delivery systems that will engender trust by eliminating the competition between the two fields. The proposed holistic approach for most interventions and therapies will increase awareness of health and wellness in children at an early age. With the impact that lifestyle and behavior have on health, children and their families can reap the benefits of this early awareness well into adulthood.
